A celebration of Gay Life in Ocala. The scope of bullying of gay teens has gained national attention. Instances can be found everywhere, including our own school system here in Marion County. Yet the burn of social stigma does not end there, rather ostracization – the exclusion from society – reaches all facets of daily life including work, church and community gatherings. A better understanding of gay life could lessen the impact of bullying and ostracization and thus lessen the emotional turmoil most gay people go through before they reach a happy life as a gay person.
